Trip Sec Flask
Produced by Vadkor Research Conglomerate
Click the picture above to view the model in 3D!
The Trip Sec Flask is a prototype chassis developed by the Vadkor Research Conglomerate in an attempt to develop a ship immune to all external fire. However, the energy requirements for a chassis to sustain this invulnerability for more than a few seconds are absolutely massive. Due to exponential energy requirements for longer durations of activity, the Trip Sec Flask would require at least 147 on-board cores for 100% uptime.
Special Ability: Activate a force field around your ship for a short time.
Strengths:
- Damage shield fully negates all incoming damage for a few seconds with no exceptions
- Not even massive amounts of damage can make the shield end early
Weaknesses:
- The chassis has a relatively low amount of hit points
- The force field has a long cooldown and a short duration
Tips and Tricks:
- Try to save your special ability for incoming projectiles. You need to react quickly!
- The shield only lasts for a few seconds, so using it as soon as it becomes available is not recommended. Instead, try to active the shield the moment before impact.
